Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will represent the company in the MEA market, driving revenue through geographical expansion and new business acquisition. Reporting to the CEO / BU Head, this techno-commercial leadership role combines strategic sales, partnership development, and solution selling. The position will also play a key role in establishing regional operations and building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute plans to achieve order booking and revenue goals across the MEA region.
  • Develop and manage relationships with enterprise and government clients for both short- and long-term growth.
  • Identify and manage key alliances, partnerships, and ecosystems across the IT, IoT, and Software/Digital stack.
  • Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities, including proposal creation and client presentations.
  • Estimate project and solution development efforts, providing detailed inputs to backend teams for competitive bids.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional delivery, software practice, supply chain, and business unit teams.
  • Represent the company in technical and customer forums, demonstrating thought leadership and market insight.
  • Provide actionable feedback to backend teams on service offerings, solutions, and intellectual property development.
  • Work with the PMO and leadership to advance project management best practices and implementation direction.
  • Drive projects to completion through effective client relationship management and resource alignment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business discipline.
  • Experience: 10–18 years in IT infrastructure or professional services; 5–10 years in IT software/solutions with 5–8 years in a customer-facing sales role.
  • Leadership: Ability to scale from an individual contributor to a leadership role as the business grows; experience managing cross-functional teams is an advantage.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong appreciation of IT stacks, software architectures, and digital technologies; experience with IT vendors and ecosystems across GCC/MEA.
  • Soft Skills: Proactive, highly organized, analytical, and inquisitive; strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; calm under pressure and passionate about emerging technologies.
