Position Overview
The HRBP Lead serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role drives talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, and change management while ensuring a positive employee experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into effective people strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
- Drive talent review, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Identify critical capability gaps and implement development interventions.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies and workforce growth.
- Lead performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews, and calibration.
- Coach managers on feedback, performance improvement, and employee development.
- Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture.
- Manage employee relations matters with fairness, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Resolve workplace issues through coaching, mediation, and policy guidance.
- Promote an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
- Support business transformation, restructuring, and organizational change initiatives.
- Drive change management plans to ensure successful adoption and employee engagement.
- Facilitate leadership communication during periods of change.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Analyze engagement survey results and create action plans.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellbeing programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
- Partner with HR Operations to ensure seamless execution of HR processes.
- Continuously improve HR policies, processes, and employee experience.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: MBA/Postgraduate qualification in HR is preferred.
- Experience: 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4–5 years as an HR Business Partner supporting technology, digital, fintech, or InsurTech businesses.
- Leadership: Experience in high-growth startup or scale-up environments is highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise: Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills; expertise in organizational development and change management; strong understanding of performance management and talent development; working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; data-driven decision-making and HR analytics capability.
- Soft Skills: Excellent coaching and influencing abilities; excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills; ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; strong business mindset.
