Position Overview
The organization seeks a hands-on D2C leader to own and scale its Direct-to-Consumer business end-to-end. This builder-operator role carries full accountability for growth, profitability, and customer experience across acquisition, conversion, retention, and loyalty. The position demands an executive who has run an online business at scale and can drive measurable impact across all digital levers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the D2C P&L, including revenue, contribution margin, CAC, LTV, and repeat rates.
- Drive profitable growth through disciplined planning and execution, avoiding vanity scale.
- Set quarterly and annual D2C growth plans with clear KPIs and performance metrics.
- Lead performance marketing across Meta, Google, Affiliates, Influencers, and emerging channels.
- Apply deep understanding of CAC vs LTV dynamics, creative-led scaling, attribution, and incrementality.
- Personally review and challenge media plans, creatives, and landing pages to ensure performance excellence.
- Scale marketing spends responsibly from ₹1–2 Cr/month to ₹10 Cr+/month while maintaining efficiency.
- Own the entire customer journey from discovery to repeat purchase, optimizing each stage for conversion and retention.
- Improve conversion rates, AOV, and repeat purchase through journey optimization and data insights.
- Partner with tech, product, and CX teams to remove friction and enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
- Leverage strong instincts for consumer behaviour, fashion buying triggers, and retention levers to drive loyalty.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record running an online business at scale with full P&L ownership.
- Leadership: Hands-on operator capable of leading cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and customer experience.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of performance marketing, Meta, Google, Affiliates, Influencers, attribution, and funnel optimization (TOF → MOF → BOF).
- Soft Skills: Strategic, analytical, data-driven, and customer-obsessed with a strong bias for action.
