Position Overview
The Head of Fund Raise is a senior leadership role responsible for strategizing, leading, and executing the organization’s fundraising initiatives for its second AIF fund raise of Rs. 1,000+ Crores through Indian family offices and wealth companies. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, this position plays a pivotal role in securing capital for expansion, strengthening investor relations, and driving the company’s long-term growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and capital strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Lead equity fundraising for AIF from wealth management companies, financial institutions, family offices, HNIs, PE/VC funds, and strategic partners.
- Prepare and deliver compelling investment pitches and presentations to potential investors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all investors and financial partners, ensuring consistent engagement and trust.
- Manage investor communication, reporting, and relationship management to ensure transparency and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder & CEO and leadership team to define and execute capital strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing fundraising team over the next 1–2 years in line with business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and ethical standards in all fundraising activities.
- Balance short-term capital requirements with long-term strategic growth priorities.
- Represent the organization in high-stakes investor meetings and industry forums.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 10–20 years of proven experience in wealth management companies and fundraising.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead investor relations and build a fundraising team; direct collaboration with the Founder & CEO.
- Technical Expertise: Fundraising, capital strategy, investor communication, and financial presentation skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, interpersonal influence, stakeholder management, and entrepreneurial mindset with high integrity and transparency.
