PSS is looking to recruit a Certified Registered Nurse - Anaesthetist (Advanced Practice) for one of its client organiztions, a growing hospital network in the north-eastern United States.
About the Role:
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will be responsible for administering anesthesia and anesthesia-related care to patients before, during, and directly following their procedures. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Compensation Package: US$ 170,000 - $180,000
Your Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing interventional pain management procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthetic patient assessment and evaluation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary during procedures.
- Manage airways and assist with intubation and extubation procedures.
- Provide pre-anesthetic and post-anesthetic care and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors at all times.
Prior Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN license or valid Compact RN license.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR (CPR-HP) certification.
- Valid national certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Current license or temporary authorization as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with authorization to practice as a CRNA by the New York State Board of Nursing.
- Valid national certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Experience with pain management procedures.
