Position Overview

The Head - Projects role is responsible for end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring completion within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality parameters. Reporting to senior management, this position drives strategic planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-value residential developments while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project completion within agreed timelines, ensuring adherence to best safety and EHS standards.
• Prepare comprehensive project plans, including stage-wise material requirements and fund forecasts, for management approval.
• Monitor project progress against schedule, cost, quality, and design specifications.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all construction-related activities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Evaluate project costs, estimates, and budgets to maintain financial control.
• Inspect project sites and materials to ensure compliance with quality and design standards.
• Appoint and manage construction contractors, vendors, and associated partners.
• Recruit, guide, and motivate project teams to achieve agreed goals and milestones.
• Oversee schedules, resource management, budgets, quality plans, and change orders throughout the construction phase.
• Ensure timely statutory approvals and effective liaison with contractors, vendors, and architects.
• Provide value engineering input during design, development, and execution stages.
• Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to customers.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: B.E/B.Tech (Civil); Post-Graduation or NICMAR qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience: 18–20 years of proven experience managing high-end residential construction projects.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead site teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and coordinate with head office and external stakeholders.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MSP; strong understanding of building construction, quality, and safety systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong decision-making, interpersonal skills, business acumen, analytical ability, integrity, and transparency.
