About the Company: PSS has been mandated to hire a Head of Buying & Merchandising for a specialized strategic partner to some of the world's coolest global brands.
Role Overview:
The role will be responsible for leading and driving the buying and merchandising function for the organization. It would involve strong partnering capabilities with global clients and implementing a 360 degree merchandising strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with the brand's positioning.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to forecast demand and optimize product assortment.
- Collaborate with retail partners to enhance the in-store experience and drive sales.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and manage the buying process for high-end products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in merchandising and buying
- Returning Indians or Indians who have previously worked in International markets and partnered with global brands
- Strong passion for fashion and apparel
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience and ability in managing a high-performing, creative team while getting the best out of each individual
