Position Overview

The Finance Director – BF & Financial Planning and Analysis will lead financial planning and analysis across all business units, driving strategic insights and fiscal performance. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role ensures robust financial governance, optimised capital management, and actionable analytics to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for all business units.
• Partner with operations and marketing teams to analyse performance, profitability, and growth levers.
• Lead treasury operations, working capital optimisation, and cash flow management.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS, and scenario models to support executive decision-making.
• Support investor reporting and strategic financial projects to enhance business transparency.
• Implement advanced financial planning tools and analytics to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with audits, taxation, and internal control frameworks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals with operational and marketing strategies.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CFO and leadership team on financial performance and risk management.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: CA/MBA Finance.
• Experience: 8–10 years of progressive experience in FMCG, retail, QSR, consumer goods, or multi-unit operations.
• Leadership: Proven ability to own P&L, lead FP&A, and manage business finance functions for a scaling organisation.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cash-flow management, cost optimisation, audits, taxation, and ERP/financial system upgrades.
• Soft Skills: Strong commercial acumen, data-driven problem-solving, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
