Position Overview

The Senior Vice President – Human Resources will lead and strengthen the overall HR function, driving organizational growth and building scalable people processes across corporate and store operations. This strategic leadership role partners closely with business heads to shape culture, talent, and capability development across a fast-growing retail organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive talent acquisition across corporate and retail/store operations.
  • Build and enhance performance management, succession planning, and leadership development frameworks.
  • Oversee employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, rewards, and HR budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and HR policies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and organizational structures.
  • Partner with business heads to support expansion and workforce planning.
  • Lead learning & development, capability building, and training programs.
  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive HR analytics, MIS reporting, and process automation initiatives.
  • Mentor and lead the HR team across multiple locations and stores.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage large, distributed workforce environments and lead HR teams across multiple locations.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of HR strategy, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, compliance, and labor laws.
  • Industry Exposure: Prior experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle, FMCG, or QSR sectors preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
