Position Overview
The Head – Human Resources (Sr. Manager / GM HR) will lead the end-to-end HR function across corporate, manufacturing, and R&D operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role drives strategic HR transformation, industrial relations, and post-acquisition integration to align people, culture, and business performance across a multi-location organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall HR strategy, operations, and people agenda across corporate, manufacturing, and R&D sites.
- Manage industrial relations, union negotiations, settlements, and labour law compliance across unionized environments.
- Drive HR integration, policy harmonization, and organizational alignment following the acquisition.
- Oversee HR operations, payroll, compliance, and HRMS/SAP systems to ensure process efficiency and automation.
- Partner with business leaders on talent management, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
- Enhance employee engagement and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop a multi-location HR team of 15–16 professionals, ensuring capability building and leadership development.
- Implement HR transformation and change management programs to support business growth and integration.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements across all sites.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR policies with strategic business objectives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: MBA / PG in HR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations.
- Experience: 15–20 years of HR leadership experience within Pharma, Manufacturing, Chemicals, or Process Industries.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead HR across multiple manufacturing locations and manage a team of 15–16 professionals.
- Technical Expertise: Strong exposure to SAP/HRMS, HR automation systems, and process optimization.
- Soft Skills: Strategic, hands-on, and adept at managing complex industrial relations and integration initiatives.
