Position Overview

The Medical Science Liaison will execute the medical affairs strategy within the assigned zone, driving scientific engagement and supporting the implementation of local medico-marketing initiatives. The role is based in North India and reports into the medical affairs leadership team, serving as a key scientific bridge between internal stakeholders and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand current medical practices, medicines, and trends within the assigned therapeutic area through engagement with key customers, attendance at scientific symposia, and review of relevant journals.
  • Gather and disseminate scientific information in a concise and credible manner to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Position the organization as a preferred medical partner through clear, non-promotional scientific communication.
  • Execute key medical projects such as IIS studies to enhance collaboration with key customer networks and deliver mutual value.
  • Participate in the implementation of local medico-marketing strategies to support business and scientific objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals across the assigned territory.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on KOL development and field insights.
  • Deliver medical and product expertise to support registration of new products or indications with regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and review labeling documents for pipeline and local products in accordance with relevant SOPs.
  • Assist regulatory affairs with early access initiatives when appropriate.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: Medical degree (preferably in Pharmacology) or qualification in life sciences.
  • Experience: Preferably 0–2 years in a similar field within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry; candidates without a doctoral qualification should have 10+ years of relevant field-based experience with strong scientific expertise.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated scientific expertise in the Respiratory therapy area; proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and credibly.
  • Location: Role based in Delhi, covering North India.
