Position Overview

The Chief HR Officer holds end-to-end responsibility for the company’s people strategy, encompassing talent acquisition, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and manpower spend. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role provides strategic leadership to a broad HR team and ensures alignment of human capital initiatives with business goals and vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the HR strategic roadmap in line with business goals and vision.
  • Lead the design and execution of PMS frameworks, processes, and policies; track and report progress against KPIs.
  • Drive organization design, employee grading, and effectiveness initiatives across all business units and plants.
  • Oversee talent acquisition and employer branding to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Formulate and execute succession planning and career pathing for critical roles and high-potential employees.
  • Design and deliver learning & development programs based on performance evaluations and manager feedback.
  • Lead employee engagement and culture-building initiatives, including recognition and retention programs.
  • Develop and manage compensation & benefits frameworks, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with performance.
  • Establish and maintain industrial relations policies; represent the organization in union and government interactions.
  • Implement HR analytics and reporting to monitor workforce metrics, engagement, and productivity.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through standardized HR templates, policies, and process reviews.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced degree in Business Administration; candidates with majors or certifications in HR or related disciplines preferred.
  • Experience: 18–20 years of total experience in Human Resources, including 5+ years in a leadership position within a large multi-product or multi-business-unit organization.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse HR teams across functions such as PMS, Talent Management, L&D, Engagement, Org Development, and Industrial Relations; direct reporting to the Managing Director.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in PMS frameworks, workforce planning, succession planning, compensation benchmarking, industrial relations, and HR analytics.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills; ability to work under pressure, manage multiple stakeholders, and adapt to changing priorities.
