Position Overview

The DGM – Wood Adhesives will lead the wood working range of water-based adhesives, including D2, D3, and Membrane Adhesives. This strategic role is responsible for driving market expansion, achieving sales and profitability goals, and building a high-performing team to strengthen customer acceptance and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explore and identify specific industry segments for the newly developed range of specialty adhesives in the wood working category.
  • Devise and implement aggressive market strategies to capture growth opportunities across new product streams.
  • Achieve defined sales and profitability targets within specified time horizons.
  • Build and lead a professional team comprising Marketing and Technical Service Support personnel.
  • Enhance market share and ensure product acceptability among customers through effective engagement and service delivery.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand the reach of D2, D3, and Membrane Adhesives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align product positioning with market needs and customer expectations.
  • Monitor competitive activity and recommend strategic actions to maintain leadership in the wood adhesives segment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: BSC Chemistry
  • Experience: 13–18 years of work experience in relevant domains.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build and mentor teams, with strong motivational and result-oriented management skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of wood working adhesives, including D2, D3, and Membrane Adhesives.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership qualities, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong mentoring acumen.
