Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic and governance-focused leader, responsible for driving financial stewardship, compliance, and capital management. Reporting to the CEO & MD, the role will shape the company’s financial strategy, strengthen investor relations, and ensure robust governance as the business scales its electric mobility platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and governance frameworks.
- Develop and execute financing strategies to support rapid business expansion.
- Manage capital structure, liquidity, and working capital efficiency.
- Oversee investor relations and shareholder communications with JV partners and external stakeholders.
- Partner with the CEO & MD and leadership team to drive strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.
- Establish financial systems and processes to support scaling operations and new product launches.
- Provide financial insights to guide investment planning, including upcoming EV truck model launches.
- Support governance and audit committees with transparent reporting and risk management.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record as a CFO or strong “No. 2” finance leader in a sizable organisation within Automotive, Energy & Renewables, or Industrials sectors.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner with boards, promoters, and investors.
- Technical Expertise: Deep grounding in accounting standards, governance, financing, and capital management.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Profile: High-potential finance leader, ideally around 45 years of age, ready to step into a top leadership role.
