Job Purpose: Drive profitable, compliant MF growth via channel partnerships, deep relationships, and disciplined execution to build resilient core assets.
 
Reporting To: Zonal Head of Sales  
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive mutual fund sales through national distributors and banking partners in the Mumbai region.  
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and channel partners to enhance market share.  
  • Conduct regular meetings with distributors and clients to understand their needs and ensure effective feedback communication within the organization.  
  • Identify, onboard, and activate new distributors to increase overall share of business.  
  • Strengthen long-term core assets through consistent incremental net sales.  
  • Improve collections and boost market presence through effective brand engagement initiatives.  
  • Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to provide timely strategic feedback to senior management.  
  • Execute sales strategies and achieve defined business objectives and performance targets.  
 
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and distribution dynamics in the mutual fund industry.  
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, leadership mindset, and strong execution orientation.  
  • NISM VA certification is required or must be completed prior to joining.
