Position Overview
The Business Head (North/South) will lead the Micro LAP business for the assigned zone, reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer (CBO). This leadership role is accountable for business growth, portfolio quality, and team performance across multiple regions, ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the Loan Against Property (LAP) business within the assigned zone.
- Lead and manage Regional Business Heads (RBH) and Cluster Business Heads (CBH) to achieve business targets.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing field force.
- Monitor and review performance on key productivity and efficiency parameters such as login, disbursement, and collection.
- Ensure compliance with audit observations and maintain operational discipline across branches.
- Oversee collection management and maintain healthy portfolio quality.
- Provide feedback on the design and development of business policies and processes.
- Ensure overall performance across all business and hygiene parameters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sustainable business growth.
- Champion a culture of accountability, compliance, and customer focus.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate & above; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 15–20 years of relevant experience in secured business such as LAP, MSME, or affordable housing.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage large regional teams including RBH and CBH roles, with direct accountability for business outcomes.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of secured lending, credit, collections, and compliance processes.
- Soft Skills: Strategic, analytical, and performance-driven leader with strong people management and operational excellence orientation.
