Position Overview
The Vice President – Business Finance leads the financial strategy, planning, analysis, and decision support for the Global Supply Organization. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer & Chief Financial Officer, this role drives cost efficiency, working capital optimization, and value creation across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for global supply chain operations.
- Analyze cost structures across procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Drive variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Act as a strategic advisor to supply chain leadership on manufacturing and Capex decision-making.
- Partner with procurement to optimize vendor negotiations and working capital.
- Support manufacturing operations with cost reduction initiatives and Capex/Opex evaluation.
- Collaborate with logistics to optimize freight, warehousing, and distribution costs.
- Define and monitor supply chain KPIs such as cost per unit, inventory turnover, working capital, and service levels.
- Implement financial governance and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
- Lead initiatives to improve ROI for supply chain projects and drive sustainable finance practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across global and regional supply chain functions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Chartered Accountant.
- Experience: 15–18 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in supply chain finance leadership.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams across global or regional operations; strong stakeholder influence with operations, procurement, and commercial leaders.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP, BI tools, and advanced Excel; deep understanding of supply chain operations including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
- Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with strong analytical capability, stakeholder management, influencing skills, and a focus on operational execution.
