Position Overview
The Senior Manager – Training role is responsible for building the capability of the Customer Facing Team (Sales Rep, FLM, SLM & TM) to achieve organizational goals. The position drives transformation from a classic field force to an orchestrator role, fostering a culture of self-learning and continuous improvement. The role is based in Mumbai and collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance commercial and customer engagement effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Build capability of the Customer Facing Team on disease, product, commercial, and soft skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Improve in-clinic effectiveness and communication precision through effective use of Hybrid CEM.
- Develop and implement robust onboarding and sustainability programs using Macro & Micro Learning content.
- Transform the classic field force into an orchestrator role aligned with evolving business needs.
- Strengthen the coaching culture and enhance leadership capability of FLM/SLM.
- Drive initiatives such as Champions League (Data Literacy, Coach N Learn, Digital Engagement).
- Lead competency assessment programs in collaboration with HR and design customized capability-building interventions.
- Prepare and manage the annual training calendar in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs on time to improve CFT competencies.
- Conduct periodic assessments and measure training impact to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor in Pharmacy or Bachelor in Science; MBA or reputed training certification preferred.
- Experience: 3–4 years of relevant training experience in a similar role and overall 8–10 years in the healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry.
- Leadership: Prior people management experience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Technical Expertise: Domain expertise, business ecosystem understanding, Data Literacy, Macro & Micro Learning content development, TNA & TNI Tools & Methodology, and facilitation skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, coaching mindset, and ability to foster a culture of self-learning.
