Position Overview

This role exists to support the Plant Finance Head in managing the Plant Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and reporting. The position plays a critical role in budgeting, audit preparation, and statutory adherence within the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Finance Head in overseeing the Plant Finance & Accounts function.
• Ensure timely booking of invoices and vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor accounts accurately and promptly.
• Apply working knowledge of TDS, Customs, PF, and other statutory laws to ensure compliance.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of GST and adherence to related compliance requirements.
• Manage Fixed Asset and Capex processes for the Bangalore Plant.
• Assist in preparation of the Plant budget and Monthly MIS reports.
• Support compilation of details required for Cost Audit activities.
• Prepare and collate data for various audits including internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Finance team for reporting and data preparation related to tax assessments.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Inter CA or B Com.
• Experience: 15 years in manufacturing companies.
• Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office, TDS, Customs, PF, GST, Fixed Asset Management, Capex Management, and audit processes.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, proactive approach, attention to detail, team player, and proficient number cruncher.
