Senior Product Manager - Structure Trade Finance (PSS08056)

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive the growth and development of the Structured Trade Finance business. The role focuses on expanding market share, developing client-centric financing solutions, and enabling corporates and financial institutions to efficiently manage complex trade flows. The incumbent will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross-functional teams, offshore banking units, and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and best-in-class structured trade finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy for Structured Trade Finance across solutions such as: 
  • Payable Finance
  • Receivable Finance
  • Inventory Finance
  • Export Finance
  • Risk Participation
  • Offshore Banking (GIFT City IBU) financing
    
    
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and regulatory developments to design innovative trade finance products.
• Identify growth opportunities across industries and develop sector-specific financing solutions.
• Collaborate with Relationship Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Sales teams to structure customized financing solutions while ensuring sound risk management.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market benchmarks to continuously enhance product strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, financial institutions, banks, intermediaries, industry bodies, and regulatory authorities.
• Own the product P&L, including pricing strategy, revenue growth, and risk-return optimization.
• Establish partnerships with fintechs and technology platforms to enhance trade finance capabilities and value-added services.
• Lead end-to-end project management for new product initiatives, ensuring timely implementation and successful execution.
• Drive stakeholder engagement to strengthen the structured trade finance ecosystem.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Postgraduate degree (preferred).

Experience

• 10–18 years of relevant experience in Structured Trade Finance product management.
• Proven expertise in developing and managing structured trade finance products.
• Strong understanding of trade finance regulations, risk management, and product commercialization.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including financial institutions and corporate clients.
