About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Marketing Manager - Diabetes for a growing pharmaceutical organization based in South Mumbai. It is a profitable organization worth Rs.1200 crore.

Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager / Group Product Manager to lead the diabetes product portfolio. This role involves developing and executing strategic marketing plans to enhance our market position and drive the success of our diabetes care products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the diabetes landscape, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, along with a proven track record in pharmaceutical marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning

  - Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies and initiatives for the diabetes portfolio that align with business objectives.

  - Conduct market research to identify trends, customer segments, and competitive insights to shape product positioning and messaging.

 

- Product Launch and Management

  - Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of product launches within the diabetes segment, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, medical affairs, and regulatory to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.

 

- Sales Enablement:

  - Create and provide marketing tools and materials to support the sales team, including presentations, product information, and promotional collateral.

  - Train and support the sales team to effectively communicate the value proposition of diabetes products to healthcare professionals.

Brand Management:

  - Oversee brand strategies and ensure consistent messaging across all channels (digital, print, events) to build brand equity and market share.

  - Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.

- Budget Management:

  - Develop and manage the marketing budget for diabetes initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI tracking.

- Stakeholder Engagement

  - Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups in the diabetes space.

  - Organize and support participation in conferences, webinars, and other events to enhance product visibility.

- Compliance and Ethics:

  - Ensure all marketing activities comply with medical, legal, and regulatory guidelines within the pharmaceutical industry.

  - Uphold the organization's ethical standards and commitment to patient care in all marketing practices.

  • He will manage a team of 2-3 people in marketing.

Qualifications & Experience.

  • B.Pharm/ B.Sc./ M.Pharma with MBA.
  • 10-12 years’ experience.
