About the Client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Martech Architect - Unica for a leading global software product MNC, specializing in enterprise marketing technology solutions. The organization empowers businesses worldwide to optimize customer engagement through advanced marketing automation, data-driven insights, and cloud-native platforms.
Job Purpose: We are looking for an experienced Martech Technical Architect to lead solution design, technical implementation, and integration for enterprise marketing automation frameworks. The role requires deep expertise in marketing platforms, architectural design, and client engagement, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership during marketing automation platform implementations, upgrades, and workshops.
- Lead solution definition, design, installation, configuration, and performance tuning across marketing automation suites (e.g., Campaign, Interact, Contact Optimization, Journey, Deliver, Plan, Link).
- Guide and enable client technical teams on solution deployment, architecture components, and ongoing maintenance.
- Conduct product installations and upgrades, including setup of application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss).
- Lead database-related activities such as schema design, SQL development, and query performance optimization across relational and cloud databases.
- Implement cloud-native deployment models using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift..
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in solution design, technical architecture, integration, and implementation of marketing automation frameworks.
- Strong background in platforms such as Unica, Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift).
- Strong database expertise (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MariaDB, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.).
- Proficiency in system administration (Windows, Linux, AIX) and scripting (shell, batch).
- API design and integration experience (Java APIs, REST, SOAP).
- Experience with Kafka setup and integrations is a plus.
